Ward 7 Special Election Democratic Party Caucus

As you may know, our dear friend and Ward 7 City Councilor Tom Ayres is stepping down from his city council seat. In order to fill that seat, there will be a special election on June 27, 2017.

May 4th at 7:00pm at the Miller Center

Ward 7 will be holding a caucus on May 4th at 7:00pm at the Miller Center (130 Gosse Ct) in the Community Room to determine who we will put forth as the Democratic candidate for Ward 7.

If you are interested in becoming a candidate, please use the form below to submit your full name and address, no later than Midnight on Tuesday night, April 18th. If no candidate submits his or her nomination by the aforementioned deadline, nominations will be accepted from the floor of the caucus.

Only Ward 7 residents who are not a part of another party committee may vote and we will have a list to verify your residence. If you’re not sure, check to see if you are a Ward 7 resident. However, this caucus is open to others who would like to attend and volunteer to help with the campaign.
