We have excellent choices for candidates on the ballot, from top to bottom. Christine Halquist will work for working families while bringing broadband internet accessto ALL of Vermont. She will help raise the minimum wage and pass the family leave bill. We have links to all the campaign websites.
he 2018 election season is officially under way, and we have five outstanding City Council candidates for your voting pleasure. Lizzie Haskell is running for election, and Chip Mason, Karen Paul, Ali Dieng and Adam Roof are running for re-election to the City Council. Read on to learn more.
Ali Deing’s experience over the last decade in Burlington has given him a range of perspectives and insights on how to address Ward 7 interests on the City Council. He is the Family Outreach Coordinator and Parent University Manager for the Burlington School District Expanded Learning Opportunities program. In this role, Ali works with families, assisting them with paperwork and processes to access afterschool programming for their children. Check out Ali’s website for more information.
