Ordinance (chair), Transportation/Energy/Utilities, Tax Abatement
I am a lifelong Burlington resident who attended Burlington public schools and UVM. I have lived in
Ward 5 for over thirteen years with my wife and two young daughters. I am an active community
volunteer and serve as a commissioner of the Burlington Employee Retirement Board, a member of the
Board of Directors of the Lund Family Center and the Vermont Children’s Trust Foundation, and a coach
for both daughters’ soccer and hockey teams. I am also a corporate attorney with a Burlington law firm
specializing in debt and equity financing, mergers and acquisitions.
I am running because I care deeply about Burlington and want to use my experience and expertise
to address the serious financial and legal challenges we face , including Burlington Telecom, the
underfunded pension and the Moran plant. I want to actively work with the next Administration and
City Council to create and implement solutions that are thoughtful, transparent and fair. I am excited
about the possibility of serving the residents of Ward 5.
